Different types of thresholds
flowtify allows you to define 4 types of thresholds:
- Upper action limit
- Upper warning limit
- Lower warning limit
- Lower action limit
How can I use thresholds?
An example: Dairy products should ideally be stored at 2 °C to 7 °C. Short-term storage at up to +10 °C is acceptable. If 10 °C is exceeded, the risk of bacteria formation increases above average.
You can use warning & action limits to define both a lower and an upper threshold. In this case, 1 °C (lower) and 9 °C (upper) make good warning limits. Action limits could be set at 0 °C and 10 °C.
flowtify marks the warning range in yellow and the action range in red. This way you always have temperature deviations at a glance.
Setting thresholds in flowtify SENSORS
Temperature thresholds define an acceptable range for a measurement. When the value exceeds or falls below this range, the responsible persons are notified.

- Click "Add threshold"
- Enter your threshold values
- Click "Save"
Note: Updated thresholds will appear in the graph with the next measurement. This may take up to 5 minutes.
Edit existing thresholds
