Temperature monitoring around the clock
Seamless sensor coverage for refrigeration, production, and storage. Automatically documented. Alerted before losses occur.
Why sensors make the difference
flowtify SENSORS is an automated temperature monitoring solution based on LoRaWAN sensors and gateways. It records temperatures and humidity continuously, alerts on deviations, and documents seamlessly. Manual temperature checks take time and only cover single moments. What happens between checks stays invisible.
Automated sensors close that gap. Temperatures are recorded continuously, deviations detected and assessed immediately.
Losses are prevented, records are kept seamlessly, and your team is freed from routine checks.
Sensors in action

The short video shows the continuous logic from sensor data capture to the action taken on site.
Sensors in daily operations
Sensors are installed where it matters operationally. In cold storage, refrigerated displays, warehouses, or warming units. Also in wet rooms, dry storage, or spa areas, continuous temperature and humidity monitoring is often essential. Measurements are recorded at defined intervals and made available both in the flowtify dashboard and live on mobile devices.
When a reading breaches its threshold beyond the configured tolerance window, the system immediately alerts responsible staff via push notification, email, and the flowtify dashboard. The incident is assessed as an event, and the responsible person documents the corrective action, tracked until it is resolved. This is the same corrective and preventive action loop (CAPA) as in HACCP, here triggered by sensor data instead of a manual check.
If the responsible person does not resolve an irregularity in time, flowtify can trigger a configurable escalation across up to four levels. Once a deadline passes, the next role in your hierarchy is notified by email, for example the area manager, then the regional manager, then the head office. Each step follows your existing responsibility structure. At the final level, the entry can be closed to further processing on site. It then remains in the documentation with its last status and stays visible in external inspections.
Monitoring runs 24 hours a day. Even overnight or on weekends, incidents are detected before they lead to losses.
Sensor hardware ready for global rollouts
We recommend LoRaWAN hardware from Milesight. The sensors offer worldwide radio standard availability, robust IP67 housings with food-grade materials, and battery life of up to five years. Batteries are customer-replaceable, keeping devices in use over many years and avoiding unnecessary hardware swaps.
Matching gateways are available with LAN, WLAN, and LTE connectivity, covering every site environment.
Setup adapts to what is possible on site. On request, we deliver the hardware fully preconfigured, so only the connection needs to be made at the location. Or we ship the devices directly, and the local team handles setup using included instructions and support videos. We accompany the process online if needed. This way, setup works equally well in a major retailer's branch or a single kitchen, without an IT department in the background.
We have already connected large multi-site networks with existing sensor infrastructure, often across multiple countries. Over the years, we have integrated various leading sensor manufacturers into flowtify. We plan such projects together with the company and execute them in a structured way.
In interplay with other modules
Sensor data does not stand alone. It feeds directly into the flowtify platform logic. A threshold violation does not just trigger an alert but is immediately assessed as an event and linked to an action.
Together with HACCP, this creates seamless records for temperature controls. Together with AUDIT, sensor incidents become comparable across locations.
The result is a continuous logic. From measurement through assessment to documented action.

How sensor data interacts with self-checks, deviations, and actions in daily operations is explored in detail on the digital quality management page.

If sensors should ease your self-checks and secure your cold chain, a short conversation is worth it.
